usbdos help files

The intent of this forum is to discuss my DOS TSR programs (available at http://bretjohnson.us), how they work and don't work, new/missing features, status of updates, and anything else related to them that may need to be discussed.

usbdos help files

Hi Bret,
I already tried twice to come in contact with you because of htmlhelp and more than 20 htm files that I wanted to add. I am not sure if you received these mails as mail.com is not very reliable.
So I run a third trial on your forum:

I am not sure if you ever noticed me at FreeDOS as I mostly work in the background. I am no programmer but work on the help since 2007.
Maybe you have heard that I work on a new htmlhelp 1.1.0 for FreeDOS. Among others I added usbdos to the latest development file.
This consists of 21 + 1 htm files. I tried to reduce your 186 pages of USBintro.doc (cannot be opened with FD edit, too big for it) to these 21 files - and even these are very long.
Some chapters were soo big that I simply added a link to your USBintro.doc.
Why do I write to you?
Simple, I only want to know if these htm documents are okay for you, if I should add something, if I should remove something, how can I improve the examples in the files? Can I remove the test tools in the help? Other proposals?

The actual version is available on my website https://www.bootablecd.de/FreeDOS-Inter ... /index.htm,
you can also start with: https://www.bootablecd.de/FreeDOS-Inter ... usbdos.htm, from there links lead to the USB commands.
The commands in square brackets are not yet finished.

In the meantime "cardpuncher", Berki Yenigün, the translator of FreeDOS help for french and turkish language has published an issue about the question if usbdos can be used in FreeDOS, see here:
https://gitlab.com/FreeDOS/drivers/usbdos/-/issues/2
It would be nice if you could clear this too.

In case that you should fear that there are viruses on my site I can send you a zip file. Of course you can also ask Jim or Jerome or others if they know me. You could also run AMB or htmlhelp.exe from a FreeDOS CD to find my name on the bottom of most files. My real name is Willi Spiegl, Fritz Mueller is only an internet nickname.

Thx for response.
